Impossible return policy. Unable to generate a label online to return dress then after spending 30 minutes on the phone with customer service still unable to get a shipping label. Ended up driving to closest store 45 minutes away to return the dress. They charged me 10 dollars to return a 48 dollar dress. This company blows. Won't shop with them again.
Ordered gift for mom on May 3rd. Shipped May 6th. Will not be delivered until May 29. Last time I use them again.

I've been shopping at Lane Bryant for years. I really don't like paying too much for clothes but I like that a lot of their clothes are quality, especially the Livi Activewear line. LB, as most stores these days, run a lot of sales and special earning periods where you can get so many $$ in Lane Rewards. So, if you spend $50, you will earn a $25 coupon to use in the future, that the next time you spend $50 (during the redemption period), you get $25 off. So recently, I did this, and earned $75 in rewards. I went back and purchased $150 worth of clothes and paid $75 for them. A couple of the shirts didn't workout, so I took them back and asked the manager, if I exchange them for something else in-store that day, then could I get a credit or get my rewards back. He told me, yes - as long as I wasn't returning the clothes for a refund, then I would get my rewards back. When I went to checkout, the manager changed his tune, and when I asked about the credit, or asked him would the $25 go back on my credit card account or whatever, he said that I actually couldn't get my rewards back because the coupon had expired. So, instead of stand there and argue with him, I told him I would just contact LB Corporate/customer service. I did so, and they told me that anytime a customer returns an item, they forfeit their rewards. Now, not only is this an extremely stupid rule, but they missed the point in that I did not get a refund. I merely exchanged them, and I actually spent more that day because I bought a couple other items too that day. LB didn't lose a penny. But I, as the customer, lost out on at least $25, which I was even more pissed about because I intentionally spent $$ during the earning period so I could get more for the redemption period. Smh. I emailed them back but they have yet to correct the error. And I know $25 isn't a lot, but it's the principle of the matter. First of all, the manager lied to me. Whether his first statement to me was in alignment with LB policy or not, he should've honored what he originally told me. In his own words, it was his mistake and he could've honored it if the coupons were still active. But $25 is $25 is $25. He could've given me a gift card or a store credit, but he refused. Secondly, I have made returns in the past and gotten rewards back, so whether the workers are doing it wrong or not, I've never had this issue before. And the store manager that day said he's been there for 9 years, so for him to make such a rookie mistake - I don't feel it was a mistake at all. I feel like, whether he was lying on the front end or the back end, he purposely did what he did. Thirdly, again, this is a stupid policy. Why would you make your customers forfeit monies that they earned to buy your product when you - the company - didn't even lose any money? That makes zero sense. Anyhow, needless to say, there's always Torrid and other plus-size stores that I can shop at that are quality and have good deals too. I've always like LB but if they don't make this right for me as a customer, I'm d-o-n-e.
I ordered a size 12 but they sent me another size. It took over a week for one pair of pants to arrive and the shipping cost as much as the pants.
The pants say Final Sale. I'll never buy anything from this store again, online or in person.

Firstly I must say this was the most horrible cx service I have ever called in to an establishment and gotten- I purchased an e-gift card and after a while I got lots of emails but not the actual e-card- so I decided to call in - after about wow! An eternity I eventually got a CSR on the line- this person apparently was new to this as she had no idea what I was saying she kept mumbling "um" to every other word she said - poor girl! - I then said I will call back - so I hung up with that person and called again- oh my! Why did I do that? This CSR- " Angelica" she answered like I disturbed her sleep- like she just jumped out of bed and the call disturbed- I know much of them are working from home but this girl was annoyed and angry- she kept saying she could not hear me when she clearly could - so I asked her what do you mean you cannot hear me? She yelled and said"I am speaking English and I said I cannot hear you? I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she just said NO! I was taken aback by this person - raw and nasty! - no cx service whatsoever ever! She was yelling and screaming at me- and yes! I did yell back! I then asked her her name and she yelled it out by spelling it back to me- very sarcastically- I did tell her she was acting like the "b"word as I was so annoyed and just wanted to get an answer to my question- she hung up the phone- I decided to call back again and after 30 mins hold she was on the line again- she is improper with her tone and very rude! Now I see why lane Bryant gets these reviews - these girls need training in how to handle the public! Disgusting behavior- and this Angelica needs to know it is a job and not a slumber Den - where she clearly was disturbed when the call was answered - I regret ordering from lane Bryant- and I am now looking for a refund of my funds as I want no part of them! Horrible! HORRIBLE! Cx service- I am so disgusted! I could not submit without placing a star- they deserve nothing!
I was on vacation in Las Vegas where I used to live. Sadly, my favorite Lane Bryant location, Blue Diamond, had closed. We went to the Meadows Mall and one of the ladies from the Blue Diamond location was there. In all the times I have shopped at Lane Bryant, Blue Diamond had the best customer service so I was happy that Tamiko was at this location. She provided me with the same stellar customer service as always.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if I was looking for something specific. I was looking for bras and in a hurry. She asked me size and I explained the issues I was having with sizing. She measured me, and offered me a bra that would offer better support. She picked one in my size and helped me to the dressing room. She asked my name and checked back with me to get another size. They only had a few choices in my size but she told me could order them and have them shipped to my home. I told her I had seen a coupon online but was unable to find it again. She helped with that too!
Tamiko was very knowledgeable and personable. As someone who had worked and managed in retail, she exemplifies the traits I look for in a customer service experience.
Shady business practices. Buy 1 get one 1/2 price. Tried to buy some cushions from Lane Bryant Home. The order came about $100 higher than it should have. Why the difference? Because they take the 1/2 price off the cheapest items. It states buy a cushion for 89 get the second one at 44.50. But the order also had two pillows :buy one at 25 second one at 12.5..so they "tried" to give me the 1/2 off for the two pillows only. uhhh NO way Jose! They also run sales in multiple catalogs but do you get the lowest price for the item?? Not unless you order from the specific catalog with the lower price. Shady Shame on you for not giving your customer the best price being presented to the public. I hate that and can see you going into the dumpster. Even with your Shady business practices you can't stay afloat for long.
b-bye.
Very rude associate. Unfortunately I did not see her name tag. Short African American woman, very short hair. I was getting ready to check out and decided to try a top on. I stood off to the side to ask if I could set my things down on the counter while I tried it on. She very loudly firmly said the line is over here, I said I'm just asking if I could leave my purchase there while trying on the top. She hesitated with her response and said "leave them over there". When I was ready to check out I was the only one at the counter waiting, she was standing at the other end of the counter just standing there. I continued to wait and she continued to stand there, she finally said sarcastically "are you ready", annoyed I said "I am", she walks past the register and says "one minute" and walks to the back room! Another associate who was working with another customer witnesses the whole thing and tells the customer "let me check this customer out", she was a tall woman with glasses. She comes over to the register and I tell her that associate is very rude, she says we've been very busy today, I reply you don't treat customers that way. If I were to go back to that store I would not shop there is she was there. She definitely had an attitude problem and directed it at me, she was completely out of line. One thing is for sure, she definitely does not represent Lane Bryant in a good light. Anyone could see she does not enjoy her job! That behavior needs to be addressed.
Marjorie Johnson caught me off guard, Marjorie went above and beyond, and then said take your time. Let me explain! Im always trying to save and work a coupon. I called to asked a specific question about buy one get one and other question. Marjorie said yes give me your item numbers.....I wasn't ready. Take your time she said. I have to look it up, its ok Marjorie said. As I nervously pull it up still in shock thinking "Really" Wow! Marjorie did the mathematics and gave me my best route. With that being said, Marjorie you're awesome! Thank you.
Fremont location review. Clean store. Helpful staff that goes the extra mile. Brittany helped me put together my order over the phone to keep my shopping time down to fit my schedule. It was better than online. It was amazingly convenient and even better than mail order because I picked it it up right away and didn't have to wait or dispose of a bunch of packing materials. She is awesome and I appreciate the extra effort.

I ordered some clothing online, received an email with shipping information with a date Receiving date corresponding With what was stated when I ordered it. However the package was never received by the shipping carrier I was sent a tracking number for and the date passed For it to arrive. The shipper updated the tracking number to state “ information will be update when the package arrive at the shipping facility of origin “. I called Lanebryants customer service and stated what was going on. The service agent was rude refused to listen to the issue. Kept saying USPS has updated. According to UPS tracking number (not USPS) that the package was never received for shipment. This is the 2nd time this has happened. They offer no customer service for online orders, no discounts for their blatant lack of service. The service agent was unprofessional kept reading the same script over and over then had the nerve to hang up on me because I asked him to locate the package. I’m done with their online store all items will be refused and shipped back.
I just moved to Eugene/Springfield, Oregon about 3-4 months ago and decided to go into Layne Bryant at the Valley River Mall in Eugene. I was having the worst week ever until I walked in and was greeted by the amazing Makaya, *thee most wonderful sales/stylist girl I have EVER met !! She welcomed me, asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, and showed me around the store and immediately helped me with my sizes. What I thought was cool as well, was that she told me the history of how Layne Bryant came to be, and was so enthusiastic explaining it to me. Normally the sales girls in other stores ask if they can help you and say, 'ok let me know if you have any questions,' and then walk away. Not her, she was absolutely fabulous !
Then I met Laura, the manager of the store, and she was so incredibly wonderful as well ! She explained that they are all about positively, and told me that they were so glad that I came in and that I got to have a good time because my week had been so awful. She made sure to ask me if there was anything else I needed before I left the store. Both of them were very accommodating. I literally cannot say enough about these two ladies.
Layne Bryant is now my new favorite store, and now when I go in again, as I will a lot, I know I am treated like a friend.
